I need a vacation...

Mon Feb 18, 2008, 6:19 PM
Boy, am I ever glad that week is over. I can't put my finger on what it was, but there seemed to be some sort of dark cloud hanging over my head all week. It's probably all related to this stupid graduation project. I'll spare you the details, but I'll just say that it's becoming a royal pain in the behind. In the event that any of you are Pennsylvania high school students and hate the graduation project as much as I do, contact me in regards to my "Eliminate the Pennsylvania High School Graduation Project" group on Facebook.
In other news, yesterday was my girlfriend and my eight month anniversary! Two-thirds of a year down, 50+ years to go. Unfortunately, we weren't able to hang out like we'd planned to. Her sister decided to come in from Johnstown and she wasn't able to get away. I just hope that we can hang out this Friday. It'll be nice to get away from the area once we're out of college. We're thinking Virginia. There's got to be some good Aerospace Engineering jobs out there.
Anyways, I think this week is going to be better. I'm hoping that all this graduation project garbage will be taken care of. We got the day off for President's Day, and it was nice to just sit around all day. It's a shame that my computer was occupied for four and a half hours rendering the Avenger's bridge... Tomorrow my friends and I have to go to a Youth Advisory Council, so we'll miss most of the day. I like that. I loathe and despise my school. Aside from that, I'm not sure what else will happen.
Thanks for wasting your time to read this.

On the topic of grad projects, I just used my MYP project for mine. I'm done already. :evillaugh: Either way, I'll be sure to add you and the group on facebook.

I went to the bodies exhibit today. It's pretty cool. They've got a brain with the whole nervous system attached to it. It's laid out so it's in the shape of a body. That was probably my favorite thing to see. Oh yeah, I held a brain too. It was braintastic

Man, I've always wanted to see that exhibit. How long is it going to be at the Carnegie Science Center?

Hey! You should check Star Trek Andromeda

It's pretty freaking sweet.
50+ years? 68's a pretty low bar to set, man.

Go for at least 70.

(And yes, I realize the + is there, but you're still setting the minimum rather low.)

Golden Anniversary, sir. Merely a benchmark. I'd say 100 if I thought it likely. Not to say I don't think 70 to be likely, it's just that I prefer more...shall we say...standard numbers. Similar to my preference for television volume. I like it to be a multiple of five under normal circumstances.

Until the end of March, I believe. You really should go see it. It's incredible.

If you go, make sure to look at the brain/nervous system part of it. Soooo crazy

Well, I think our band/chorus trip this year is taking us out to Pittsburgh to see Jesus Christ Superstar and to go to Dave and Buster's. If I'm lucky, I could convince the people in charge to make a detour, or jump ship and go stay with my aunt, she doesn't live too far away (Cranberry).
